AS WE SURRENDER OUR ALL TO GOD, HE WILL SEE US THROUGH TO VICTORY

Our greatest breakthroughs seem to happen when we meet God on our knees. We bow in humble adoration and reverence of our Lord. We surrender to His power working in our lives… making us courageous and strong… able to stand tall. Our fears are seen for what they are… small compared to a great, mighty and powerful God.
How do we do life when it seems to overwhelm and overpower all our attempts? Perhaps it is that they are our attempts. Too often we try to handle our problems ourselves. Even as believers, we fall back upon our own self-sufficiency to get us through life. We forget to tap into our eternal Life Source… our power for living.
We turn to God in desperate times… crying out to Him in our times of need. We forget that He will go before us and make a way for us if we only ask. Rather than a crisis God to whom we shoot our “arrow prayers”, we seek Him first to be our Shield and Protector. He will break down barriers before us to make our paths smooth.
“For the Lord your God is the One who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” – Deuteronomy 20:4
Our trust is in a God who fights our battles for us. We are not to trust in ourselves… our own abilities… our worldly weapons in the battle. The victory is not with us. The victory is with the One who is in us.

On our knees, we meet our Almighty God. We place our complete trust in Him, surrendering all to His sovereignty. For He is the One who helps us be brave and stand strong. He will fight for us and see us through to victory.
