WHAT DO THE NAMES OF CHRIST REVEAL TO US?

Jesus is Lord of all the universe… and He reigns as Lord in the life of every believer. He is forever worthy of our great awe, humble reverence and heartfelt worship. Although we may view Him in finite ways, His attributes are infinite. Let us explore the many names of Jesus in Scripture that unveil facets of His divine character… and manifest His prophetic role in God’s master plan of salvation…
“The Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.” – Luke 1:35
† Son of God – Jesus is the Son of the Most High… the only begotten Son of the Father… holy and true
“See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed.” – Revelation 5:5
† The Lion – Jesus is the Victorious One… the One prophesied to rule on the throne of David forever
