GOD GIVES US HIDDEN BLESSINGS FOR OUR JOY

Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. – Psalm 37:4 –
Did you know that our Lord takes great joy in blessing us? Do we take time to recognize His blessings?
Our God is good and He only acts in love and goodness toward His children. He showers us with infinite blessings. The floodgates of heaven open and rain down upon us all that is good and wonderful. We see many of His blessings water our lives in abundance. New sprouts and blossoms of opportunity, favor and joy surround us when we keep our eyes on our Lord.
Our greatest treasure is Christ Himself. He is our heart’s desire. All that we could ever want can be found in Him. He gave His all for us and we give our lives to Him. His manifold blessings of salvation, favor and protection are His gifts to us.
Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You. – Psalm 73:25
Yet God does not want us to miss the blessings He tucks into the hidden crevices, the quiet places of our lives to delight us. Like tiny flowers nestled under rocks, God places them there for the joy it will bring to us. It is one of His ways of manifesting His love toward us. These hidden blessings are perhaps the most special when we take the time to search them out.
When we discover these hidden gems, these secret treasures, we know that they were sent directly to us from our loving God. They have His unmistakable fingerprints upon them. They may not appear to have great value in the eyes of others. Yet to us they are blessings straight from heaven… gifts directly from the hand of God.
These hidden blessings validate the truth that we are His prized possession… the apple of His eye. They are affirmations of our great value in His eyes. We are worthy to be called His children.
I will cause showers to come down in their season; they will be showers of blessing. – Ezekiel 34:26
Our God lavishes His love and blessings upon us. He cherishes us, His chosen ones. His hand of generosity is a constant reminder of His deep love for us. We can only look to Him in humble adoration and thankfulness as we come to discover and appreciate all His gifts to us… ever aware and ever thankful of His blessings.
You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. – Psalm 16:11
