PROPHESY GOD’S PROMISES OVER YOUR LIFE
____________________________________________________________
“As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” – Isaiah 55:10-11
There is life-changing power in the words of God. God spoke the world into existence with His words of power (Hebrews 11:3). He upholds the universe by His mighty word (Hebrews 1:3). We can change our world by the words we speak. We can prophesy over our lives.
How often we speak negative words over ourselves and our situations. Or we use our words to describe the problems and challenges we face in a negative and hopeless light. With our words, we question our abilities… let opportunities pass us by… and talk ourselves out of blessings and miracles that God so wants to bestow on us.
When we believe our mortal feelings… when we let the world influence us… when we believe the lies and deceits of the enemy, our lives take a negative path. We can counter the negativity that we have internalized over the years by speaking God’s truth. We can use the powerful and hope-filled words of Scripture to change our perspective, our outlook and our circumstances.
With our words, we either glorify God or we glorify the enemy. When we speak words of negativity… words of criticism, anxiousness, fear, condemnation, doubt, discouragement or defeat… our focus shifts to all that is wrong in our lives. We believe our words, our thoughts, our feelings. Our outlook turns negative. We are essentially glorifying the enemy’s work in our world.
When we speak God’s words, we glorify Him. Our focus shifts to the positive, the blessings in our world. We sense His presence with us. We remember His unending love for us and His eternal promises. We reflect on our identity in Christ… and our future forever with Him. His peace and joy fill our hearts. Our hope is renewed.
“You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.” – Job 22:28
God’s Word is filled with promises. We can speak to our world with His life-changing words and see His goodness manifest in our lives. We can move into His divine will and abundance. For He has promised that His words will accomplish all that He desires and purposes.
You can affirm who you are in Christ by declaring His promises for you in Scripture. Personalize them… and apply them to the areas where you need His intervention. God’s Word is powerful to change lives. Prophesy over yourself, your family, your loved ones, your world. Speak life… health… grace… blessings… hope.
When you believe who God says you are, you can move into becoming who He created you to be. Take hold of the opportunities He brings your way. Seek to live in the abundance of His divine will and purpose. For He has only the most excellent in mind for you.
Here is a collection of personalized promises of God from the vast number in His Word. Keep these Scriptures close at hand and speak them often. Make these promises your own. See how God will transform your life and the lives of those for whom you pray.
