WE ARE NEW CREATIONS – FREE IN CHRIST

We are called to true freedom in Christ. We are new creations by the power of His Holy Spirit within us. Yet too often we are hindered… held captive… rendered powerless by our past. Mistakes… regrets… failures overwhelm us with feelings of unworthiness. How is it possible to break free from these paralyzing chains?
“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.”– Romans 8:1-2
As believers, we are not only free from sin’s bondage, we are free from the law which condemns. Whether that condemnation comes from the world, our own selves or the enemy of our souls, Christ has paid the price for all sin once for all. We are totally accepted and forgiven by God.
“We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.”– 2 Corinthians 5:21
How liberating to know that as we walk according to the Spirit, we leave behind our past and become new creations… free from any shackles or baggage. Free in Christ.
