There is no higher calling than to bring glory to God. It is the fundamental aim of our Christian walk. It is the basis of our life’s mission and purpose as believers. Hand in hand with this is enjoying Him through this life and all eternity.
⇒ What does it mean to glorify God?
Glorifying is offering praise and honor, worship and adoration to the Most High God. It is exalting Him for who He is… His majestic character. It is extolling Him for His holiness, His power, His goodness, His love and grace, His justice and mercy. We bring Him glory by reflecting His supreme greatness and love to the world through our Christlike lives.
⇒ What does it mean to enjoy Him forever?
Enjoying Him is experiencing joy in His wondrous presence. It is delighting in His awe-inspiring creation… and living in gratitude for His bounteous blessings. Believers find joy in Christ’s presence through His Spirit. We treasure the gifts of salvation by grace… forgiveness of sins, transformed character, empowered daily living, hope of eternal life.
May all the peoples praise You. May the nations be glad and sing for joy. – Psalm 67:3-4

† Worship Him in the splendor of His holiness
† Surrender to the lordship of Christ in your life
† Appreciate the beauty of God’s creation

† Seek Him in His Word and heed His commands
† Dedicate to God your time, talents, treasures
† Make your life an offering of love to Him
† Mirror His love and glory to a lost and fallen world

Our Christian journey leads us ever closer to this awesome God who loves us beyond measure. As we grow in Him, we come to find great joy in His presence. We seek to honor Him with our hearts and in our lives. Our spirits come to want nothing more than to spend eternity giving all due glory to the One who is worthy.
